abominale snowman

we made a holiday spiced ale last night. were calling it "abominale snowman". color and smell was awesome. the boil was pretty weak, so we ended up with about 5 1/2 gallons, resulting in a OG of 1.050 instead of the 1.060 it should have been. oddly enough, this is the first all grain batch we've missed our OG on. a keggle or bigger boil pot sure would relive this type of problem. right now we are using two 5 gallon kettles. preventing a boil-over is a pain in the ass. here are some pictures from last nights brew session.
