about us

The Story:
  • In late 2008 we brewed our first batch of Amber ale (extract). Looking back at it, everything went wrong with that first batch. Scorching the grains, splashing boiling hot wort into Bakers eyes, shattering the glass full of rehydrating yeast, forgetting to chill the batch before pitching yeast, and knocking the airlock into the fermenter, then reaching in with a bare arm to fish it out. The joy from sipping back on that first batch of homebrew... priceless. Since then, we've been hooked. After six batches of extract brewing we moved into all-grain, kegging, and 10 gallon batches.
